Adoring Maude Apatow

Maude Joins Animated Drama “Pantheon”

Maude Apatow, William Hurt, Corey Stoll Among Four Cast in AMC Animated Drama ‘Pantheon’ as Series Creator Inks Overall Deal

VARIETY – Maude Apatow, William Hurt, Corey Stoll, and Lara Pulver have all joined the cast of the upcoming AMC animated drama “Pantheon,” the network announced Thursday as part of the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

“Pantheon” is based on a collection of short stories from the Hugo Award-winning sci-fi, fantasy and “silkpunk” Chinese-American author Ken Liu, known best for penning the epic “Dandelion Dynasty” quartet. The series centers on the topic of “Uploaded Intelligence,” or human consciousness uploaded to “the Cloud.” “Pantheon” follows protagonist Maddie (Katie Chang), a bullied teen who receives help from a mysterious stranger online. He (Daniel Dae Kim) is soon revealed as Maddie’s recently deceased father, David, whose consciousness has been digitally immortalized following an experimental destructive brain scan. David is the first of new kind of ‘UI” being, but he won’t be the last as a global conspiracy unfolds that threatens to trigger a new kind of world war. Produced by AMC Studios, AMC has placed an initial order for two seasons of “Pantheon” consisting of eight one-hour episodes each.

Hi, everyone! Screen captures of Maude as Henrietta in season one of Netflix’s Hollywood have been added to the gallery.

Maude for Who What Wear

Maude was recently interviewed for Who What Wear. Check out the stunning new photoshoot below!

Welcome to the Summer of Maude Apatow

WHO WHAT WEAR – “Wait!” Maude Apatow interrupts herself in a moment of panic. “I need to make sure that I give you an exact statement of how I’m supposed to describe it because I don’t know if I’ve spoiled anything.” The 22-year-old actress has the arduous task of promoting a new project shrouded in secrecy, and she understandably doesn’t want to blow it. Apatow and I are just a few minutes into our phone conversation when I ask her about the project in question, Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series Hollywood. She hints at a post-war Tinseltown narrative turned on its head, and that’s pretty much all she can say at the time of our call. Hollywood is Murphy’s second project for the giant streamer, and luckily, I don’t need to be privy to key plotlines to know that one, the series will be a hit, and two, the cast, a mix of industry vets and exciting new talent, is not to be overlooked. These are Murphy staples, after all.

“The King of Staten Island” Official Trailer

Scott has been a case of arrested development ever since his firefighter father died when he was seven. He’s now reached his mid-20s having achieved little, chasing a dream of becoming a tattoo artist that seems far out of reach. As his ambitious younger sister heads off to college, Scott is still living with his exhausted ER nurse mother and spends his days smoking weed, hanging with the guys—Oscar, Igor, and Richie —and secretly hooking up with his childhood friend Kelsey.
But when his mother starts dating a loudmouth firefighter named Ray, it sets off a chain of events that will force Scott to grapple with his grief and take his first tentative steps toward moving forward in life.
